ACS714 Current Sensor Carrier -5A to +5A

This board features Allegro's ±5A ACS714 Hall effect-based linear current sensor. It provides a low-resistance (about 1.2 mΩ) current path and electrical isolation up to 2.1 kV RMS. Accepting a bidirectional current input up to 5 A, it outputs a proportional analog voltage (185 mV/A) centered at 2.5 V with a typical error of ±1.5%. Operating from 4.5 V to 5.5 V, it's ideal for 5 V systems.

Using this current sensor carrier is easy. First, connect it to a 5V system as it operates between 4.5V and 5.5V. Then, you can input a bidirectional current of up to 5A. The sensor will output an analog voltage proportional to the current. When using, avoid over - current situations as it's designed for a maximum of 5A. For maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean environment. Regularly check the connections to make sure they are secure.
