Product Details

The Gravity C4001 millimeter-wave presence sensor is a high - performance device for human presence and motion detection. Operating at a 24GHz wavelength signal, it offers a 100° horizontal detection range. It can detect human presence up to 8 meters and human motion up to 12 meters. This sensor uses the Gravity interface (PH2.0) and supports both I2C and UART communication methods, making it compatible with popular development boards like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and ESP8266. It's perfect for human detection, environmental monitoring, and real - time tracking projects. Compared to infrared sensors, it can detect both static and moving humans. It has strong anti - interference capabilities, not affected by temperature, light, or noise. It uses FMCW modulation for accurate distance and speed measurement, with a distance range from 1.2m to 12m and a speed range from 0.1m/s to 10m/s. It has a compact size, easy to integrate. The sensor comes with different installation methods such as top, bottom, horizontal, and downward tilted installation. Operating at 3.3V/5V, with a 100*80° beam angle, and an operating temperature of - 40~85℃. Its I2C address is 0x2A/0x2B, and it has a size of 22*30mm. The shipping list includes the sensor and a Gravity - 4P I2C/UART Sensor Connector.

Using the Gravity 24GHz Millimeter - Wave Human Presence Detection Sensor is quite straightforward. First, choose an appropriate installation method according to your needs, like top, bottom, horizontal, or downward tilted installation. Make sure to follow the wiring diagram when connecting it to an Arduino Uno or other compatible development boards. The sensor supports I2C and UART communication, so select the suitable one for your project. When it comes to power, it can operate at either 3.3V or 5V. As for the installation location, avoid places with extreme temperatures, high humidity, or strong electromagnetic interference, as this may affect the sensor's performance. In terms of maintenance, keep the sensor clean from dust and debris. If there are any issues with detection range or accuracy, check the installation position and wiring. This sensor is durable, but if you need to store it for a long time, keep it in a dry and cool place. Enjoy using this sensor for your human detection, environmental monitoring, and real - time tracking projects!
