Product Details

The Joy Bonnet Pack for Raspberry Pi Zero WH is a fantastic setup. It comes with a fully - assembled Pi Zero WH and our super - fun Joy Bonnet! This Bonnet fits perfectly on any Raspberry Pi Zero. It provides cute hand - held arcade controls. After installing our script on your Pi, the controls work like a keyboard, making it easy to use with any emulator or media player. This pack is plug - and - play. You don't need to solder or hammer, so you can start gaming in minutes. It's ideal for MakeCode Arcade. The pack includes: a Raspberry Pi Zero WH with built - in WiFi and pre - soldered GPIO header; an Adafruit Joy Bonnet for Raspberry Pi, which is pocket - sized and great for RetroPie/EmulationStation; an Adafruit Pi Zero Enclosure to keep your Pi safe; a 6 - foot USB OTG Host Cable; and a Mini HDMI Plug to Standard HDMI Jack Adapter. You'll still need an SD card, HDMI cable, and power supply, but you probably have them at home. Check out Adafruit's Joy Bonnet learn guide for easy installation and usage.

Using this Joy Bonnet Pack is a breeze. First, take out the Raspberry Pi Zero WH and the Joy Bonnet. Place the Joy Bonnet on top of the Pi Zero. Connect the USB OTG Host Cable to your Pi and other necessary devices. Use the Mini HDMI Plug to Standard HDMI Jack Adapter to connect your Pi to a display. Put your Pi inside the Adafruit Pi Zero Enclosure for protection. Install the provided script on your Pi, and then your controls will work like a keyboard. You can start playing games on emulators or media players right away. Remember, you'll need to provide your own SD card, HDMI cable, and power supply. Keep your pack in a dry and clean place. If there's dust on the devices, use a soft, dry cloth to clean them. Don't expose the Pi or other components to extreme temperatures or moisture. Refer to Adafruit's Joy Bonnet learn guide if you run into any issues during installation or usage.
