Gemma Starter Pack

Kickstart your Adafruit GEMMA journey with this amazing starter kit! It's packed with everything needed for a basic project. Inside, you'll find a GEMMA board, four sewable bright RGB pixels, a battery holder with batteries, 2 - ply conductive thread, alligator clips for circuit testing, and a USB cable for programming the GEMMA. As of June 20th, 2016, to simplify shipping for customers, this pack no longer includes CR2032 batteries. You can purchase them from us or your local battery supplier. The kit features a GEMMA V2 miniature wearable electronic platform, four Flora RGB NeoPixels V2, a coin cell battery holder with JST connector and on/off switch, 25 - meter/85 ft of 2 - ply stainless thin conductive thread, a set of 20 needles, a set of 12 small alligator clip test leads, and a 3 - ft USB A/MicroB cable. We promise you'll have a great time sewing safely!

Using this Adafruit Gemma starter pack is easy! First, take out the GEMMA board. Connect the alligator clips to the board to test your circuit. You can use the conductive thread and needles to sew the Flora RGB NeoPixels onto your project. Then, attach the battery holder with the batteries to power the setup. Use the USB cable to connect the GEMMA board to your computer for programming. Note that as of June 20th, 2016, the pack doesn't come with CR2032 batteries, so make sure to get some. When handling the conductive thread, be careful not to break it. For maintenance, keep the components in a dry and cool place. If you're not using the battery, turn off the switch on the battery holder to save power. Have fun creating your projects with this starter pack!
