Piezo Vibration Sensor - Small Horizontal

The Minisense 100 by Measurement Specialties is an affordable cantilever-style vibration sensor. With a mass loading, it offers high sensitivity at low frequencies, making it great for detecting vibrations and 'tap' inputs from users. When the film moves back and forth, it generates a small AC and a large voltage (up to +/-90V). You can use a simple resistor to bring the voltage down to ADC levels. It can also be used for impact sensing or as a flexible switch. It comes with machine pins for horizontal mounting. We've found it to be an excellent choice for musical inputs.
