This custom-designed rubber wheel features a 1.69-inch (43 mm) diameter rubber tire. It's a perfect fit for the output shafts of our mini metal gear motors and Solarbotics metal gear motors. The teeth on the hub give you the option to use a reflectance sensor for encoder feedback. Mount your gear motors on the side of the hub with the protruding teeth. The output shaft will slide easily into the socket at first, but you'll get a snug fit when you press it through to the other edge of the hub. Solarbotics metal gear motors' output shafts also fit these wheels, but since they're shorter, you'll need to mount them on the other side of the wheel where the fit is tighter. The Micro Metal Gearmotor Bracket Extended is specially designed to work with this wheel. Note that the non-extended version of our mounting bracket won't work well with it. Specifications include a 43mm wheel diameter, 9mm wheel width, and a weight of 14. The documents provided are the NR SGS Report, NR SVHC Report, and RoHS_Test_Report. The shipping list includes two N20 ABS Rubber Wheels with 43*9mm dimensions.

Using this wheel is easy. First, decide which side of the hub to mount your gear motor on. If it's our mini metal gear motor, mount it on the side with the protruding teeth. Just slide the output shaft into the socket and press it through to the other edge for a snug fit. For Solarbotics metal gear motors, since their output shafts are shorter, mount them on the other side of the wheel. Make sure to use the Micro Metal Gearmotor Bracket Extended for the best performance; the non - extended version won't work well. As for maintenance, keep the wheel clean from dirt and debris. Check the fit of the output shaft regularly to ensure it's secure. If you plan to use the reflectance sensor for encoder feedback, make sure the teeth on the hub are in good condition. Also, store the wheel in a dry place when not in use to prevent the rubber from deteriorating.
