Product Details

The DG01D-E is an excellent single hobby motor equipped with a hall speed encoder. It operates on a voltage ranging from 3 - 9V, with a gearbox ratio of 1:48. At 4.5V, it can reach a speed of 90RPM. The voltage between the positive and negative terminals depends on the power supply voltage of the single - chip microcomputer, usually 3.3V or 5V. The hall sensor can detect the North and South poles of the magnetic plate. When it senses the South pole, the hall output is high; when it senses the North pole, the output is low. Note that this is a single motor. You'll need at least two of these motors for an effective robotics project, and they aren't sold in pairs.

Using this DG01D - E hobby motor is quite simple. First, connect it to a power supply with a voltage between 3 - 9V. Make sure to set the positive and negative voltage according to your single - chip microcomputer's power supply voltage, which is commonly 3.3V or 5V. Remember, you need at least two motors if you're working on a robotics project. When the motor is running, the hall sensor will detect the magnetic poles of the plate. If you want to know the motor's position or speed, you can check the hall output level. As for maintenance, keep the motor clean and avoid exposing it to moisture or dust. If you notice any unusual noises or malfunctions, stop using it immediately and check for loose connections or damaged parts.
