Half Height / Low Profile MX-Compatible Key Switches - 12 pack

These 'Half Height' low-profile MX key switches are a perfect choice for crafting your own custom keyboard. They're compatible with standard MX layouts and solder-free sockets, boasting a much slimmer design. While standard Cherry MX switches stand 10mm above the board, these are just 7mm tall, yet still have a 4mm actuator height. The 'half height' comes from their 3mm body height from the mounting plate to the actuation floor, compared to the typical 6mm. Similar to MX Black switches, they offer a smooth linear keystroke, giving you the same feel as MX Blacks but in a shorter form. Each pack includes 12 switches, great for our Adafruit MACROPAD. They're also compatible with our NeoKey boards, like the Socket Breakout and FeatherWing, which is ideal if you want to skip soldering. We also provide easy-to-snap-on MX-compatible keycaps.
