Product Details

The Pimoroni Enviro pHAT is a fantastic device for monitoring conditions at home, in the garage, and more. It's packed with 4 different sensors that can measure up to 10 variables, including temperature, pressure, light level, color, 3-axis motion, compass heading, and analog inputs. Simply snap it onto a Raspberry Pi Zero (or any Raspberry Pi with a 2x20 connector) and get a fully - fledged environment - sensing pHAT powered directly from the Pi. You can set up a Flask web server and monitor everything remotely from anywhere. This pHAT works with all 40 - pin Raspberry Pi variants, but it's an ultra - compact choice when used with the Pi Zero. Combine it with other Pimoroni HATs and pHATs for endless possibilities, like showing sensor values on a Unicorn pHAT or displaying data on a Display - O - Tron HAT. Pimoroni's Python library makes using the Enviro pHAT a breeze. Key features include a BMP280 temperature/pressure sensor, a TCS3472 light and RGB color sensor, two illumination LEDs, an LSM303D accelerometer/magnetometer sensor, and an ADS1015 4 - channel 3.3v analog - to - digital sensor. The kit includes an assembled Enviro pHAT PCB, a 2x20 0.1' female GPIO header, and a male header for ADC pins. Some light soldering is needed to attach the header, or you can solder the pHAT directly to the Pi Zero.

Using the Pimoroni Enviro pHAT is easy. First, you need to attach it to your Raspberry Pi Zero or any other compatible Raspberry Pi with a 2x20 connector. You may need to do some light soldering to attach the headers, but you can also solder the pHAT directly to the Pi. Once it's attached, you can start using it. To get real - time data, set up a web server with Flask. This way, you can monitor the environmental conditions from anywhere. When it comes to combining it with other Pimoroni HATs and pHATs, just follow the instructions for each device. For maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you have any technical issues, refer to Pimoroni's Python library. It provides simple ways to operate the Enviro pHAT and troubleshoot common problems.
