Product Details

The DFRobot Heart Rate Monitor Sensor is a great tool for measuring the heart's electrical activity. It can turn this activity into an ECG chart and provide an analog reading. To deal with the noisy ECG signals, we've added an AD8232 chip. This chip ensures a clear signal from the PR and QT Intervals. With the Arduino IDE 'Serial Plotter' feature, you can easily view the plotted ECG output on your PC!To make it user - friendly, it has a Gravity Interface for plug - and - play. The IO expansion shield is the perfect match when connecting this sensor to your Arduino. Working at 3.3V, it's compatible with Raspberry Pi, Intel Edison, Joule, and Curie.Note: This is not a medical device and shouldn't be used for medical diagnosis or treatment.Specifications: Input Voltage is 3.3 - 6V (5V recommended), Output Voltage is 0 - 3.3V, it has an Analog Interface, Operating current is less than 10mA, Dimensions are 35 x 22mm (1.378' x 0.866'), and Interface Type is PH2.0 - 3P.Documents: Product WIKI.Shipping List: 1 Heart Rate Monitor Sensor, 1 Sensor cable - Electrode Pads (3 connector), 6 Biomedical Sensor Pads, and 1 PH2.0 - 3P cable.

Using this heart rate monitor sensor is quite simple. First, connect the sensor to your Arduino using the IO expansion shield. If you're using a different device like Raspberry Pi, it'll work too as it supports 3.3V. Then, attach the electrode pads to your body as directed. You can view the ECG output on your PC using the Arduino IDE 'Serial Plotter' feature. It's important to remember that this is not a medical device. Don't use it for diagnosing or treating any health conditions. For maintenance, keep the sensor clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If the electrode pads lose their stickiness, you can replace them with the extra ones in the shipping list.
