Product Details

This is a high - performance hydrogen and nitrogen oxide gas concentration sensor launched by DFRobot. It uses advanced MEMS technology to accurately detect the gas concentrations of NO, NO2, and H2. The matching sample code comes with integrated concentration conversion formulas for various gases, making it incredibly easy for you to test and use the sensor. This product supports a 5V power supply and provides an analog voltage output. It also features power supply enable/disable pins, allowing for low - power consumption operation. With its wide range of applications including gas leak detection, gas safety equipment, and air environment detection, it's a reliable choice. Specification details: it can detect the gas concentration or leakage of NO, NO2, and H2. The operating voltage is 4.9 - 5.1V DC, power dissipation is 0.45W, and the output signal is analog. The measuring range is 1 - 1000ppm for hydrogen (H2) and 0.05 - 10ppm for nitrogen dioxide (NO2). It can work in a temperature range of - 30 to 85℃ and humidity range of 5 - 95%RH (no condensation). The storage temperature is - 40 to 85℃, and it has a lifespan of over 2 years in the air. The circuit board size is 12mm×16mm, and the mounting hole size has an inner diameter of 2mm and an outer diameter of 4mm.

Using this gas sensor is a breeze. First, make sure to connect it to a power supply within the 4.9 - 5.1V DC range. You can use the provided sample code to quickly start testing the gas concentrations. The code already has the concentration conversion formulas built - in, so you don't have to worry about complex calculations. When using it, keep in mind that the sensor should be operated in an environment with a temperature between - 30 and 85℃ and humidity between 5 - 95%RH without condensation. For long - term storage, store it at a temperature between - 40 and 85℃. To maintain its performance, avoid exposing it to extreme conditions. Also, since it has power supply enable/disable pins, you can turn off the power when it's not in use to save energy. This will not only help with low - power consumption but also extend the sensor's lifespan of over 2 years in the air.
