Product Details

The Digilent BNC Adapter Board is a must - have add - on for your Digilent Analog Discovery 2. It lets you connect standard BNC - terminated test leads and probes to your pocket - sized oscilloscope. This board offers BNC terminations for each of the two oscilloscope channels. You can easily choose between AC or DC coupling for signals going to the oscilloscope by adjusting a jumper behind the BNC input connector of each channel. The two AWG channels also come with BNC terminations, and you can select either 50 - ohm or 0 - ohm termination for each channel, allowing you to match the output impedance with standard 50 - ohm test leads or connect directly. Moreover, it boosts the oscilloscope bandwidth from 9 MHz (wire harness) to 30 MHz on the Digilent Analog Discovery 2. Key features include using standard BNC test leads on your Analog Discovery, selectable coupling for oscilloscope probes, adjustable output impedance on AWG channels, and making the differential scope inputs single - ended with the negative input grounded. You can access useful documents like schematics, reference manuals, and the Digilent Resource Page.

Using the Digilent BNC Adapter Board is easy. First, connect it to your Digilent Analog Discovery 2. Then, you can attach standard BNC - terminated test leads and probes to start using your oscilloscope. To set the coupling for the oscilloscope channels, just adjust the jumper behind the BNC input connector. For the AWG channels, select the appropriate 50 - ohm or 0 - ohm termination according to your needs. When using it, make sure all connections are secure to avoid signal interference. Also, don't expose the board to extreme temperatures or moisture. For maintenance, keep it clean and free from dust. If you have any problems, refer to the reference manual or check the Digilent Resource Page.
