Adafruit 14-segment LED Alphanumeric Backpack

Now, by popular demand, you can get our 14-segment LED backpacks without the LEDs! These backpacks come with an HT16K33 I2C LED driver, making them super easy to use. With our great library for the backpacks, you can have numbers and letters displayed in less than half an hour. If you've been interested in matrix displays but put off by the complexity, this is the perfect solution! Like our other LED backpacks, these are stackable from end to end. By soldering the address jumpers on the back, you can have up to 8 backpacks sharing the same two I2C wires. It comes with a fully tested and assembled LED backpack and a 4-pin header. A little soldering is needed to attach the header and the display. Note that a set of two 2-digit 0.54' tall alphanumeric displays are not included, but we have many options in the store. We only guarantee it works with the displays we stock.

For maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. If it gets dirty, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it.
