Product Details

You've seen those cool party platters at fancy events with sliced carrots on one side and cheese chunks on the other. Well, this is the exact same concept but for 6mm tactile buttons! With this button party tray, you'll never be limited by button colors again. It comes with a variety of colors and is neatly packed in a handy carry case. These little clicky switches are the go - to 'buttons' for electronic projects. They work great on a PCB and can also be used on a solderless breadboard as shown in the tutorial. The pins are normally open and close briefly when the button is pressed. These 6mm Rainbow buttons are the flashy siblings of our Adafruit - black Tactile Button Switch pack. Each button has a candy - colored round cap. You'll get 20 buttons in each of these colors: blue, brown, green, yellow, orange, red, black, and white, making a total of 160 mini tactile switch buttons! All buttons have a force of about 250gf. We really love the round plastic case with cute little tabs that are easy to pop open.

Using these 6mm rainbow tactile buttons is a breeze. For electronic projects, if you're using a PCB, simply solder the buttons onto the designated spots. If you prefer a solderless breadboard, just insert the pins into the appropriate holes as shown in the tutorial. When you press the button, you'll notice the pins close momentarily to complete the circuit. As for precautions, make sure not to apply excessive force when pressing the buttons. Although they can handle a force of about 250gf, too much pressure might damage the internal structure. For maintenance, keep the buttons away from dust and moisture. You can use a dry, soft cloth to gently wipe the buttons if they get dirty. The round plastic case they come in is great for storage. Just pop it open with the cute little tabs and keep your buttons organized when not in use.
