Product Details

Are you frustrated that industrial sensors can't work with your Arduino? You definitely need a converter like this one! This 12V to 5V level converter module comes with 2-channel optocoupler isolation and supports common anode, common cathode, and differential signal inputs. It can effectively translate the signal level from 12V to 5V and offers PNP output (NPN to PNP conversion is also available). This versatile converter is perfect for signal isolation, PLC signal level conversion, NPN to PNP signal conversion, polarity conversion, and signal level voltage conversion. With features like PNP output, signal photoelectric isolation, and an SMD LED indicator, it's a reliable choice for your projects. The module has a compact design, with a bare board size of 38*72*19mm (1.50*2.83*0.75”) and a converter with shell size of 40*87*39mm (1.57*3.43*1.54”). It also has 3mm screw holes and can be easily installed on standard rails. Each channel has an output current of no more than 50mA. What you'll get in the package is one 2-Channel Level Converter (12V to 5V).

Using this 2-Channel Level Converter is quite easy. First, connect the power input according to the note: the positive of the module DC power supply should equal the signal output voltage. For example, for a 12 to 5V module, set the power input VCC to 5V. Then, connect your sensors to the input channels. The converter supports common anode, common cathode, and differential signal inputs, so choose the appropriate connection method based on your needs. It can convert the signal level from 12V to 5V and provide PNP output. As for maintenance, keep the converter in a dry and clean environment. Avoid exposing it to excessive humidity or dust. If you notice any issues, check the wiring first to make sure everything is connected properly. Also, don't exceed the maximum output current of 50mA for each channel to prevent damage to the converter.
