Product Details

This gearmotor is a fantastic choice for applications that need precise control at extremely low speeds. It's a small yet high-power 6V brushed DC motor. It comes with long - lasting carbon brushes and a 986.41:1 metal gearbox. The motor has a 10 × 12 mm cross - section. Its D - shaped gearbox output shaft is 9 mm long and 3 mm in diameter. Remember, the stall torque and current specs are theoretical. Stalling the motor can damage the gearbox. Key specs: At 6V, it runs at 33 RPM with a 150 mA no - load current, and has a stall torque of 11 kg⋅cm (150 oz⋅in) with a 1.5 A stall current.

Using this gearmotor is easy. First, make sure to connect it to a 6V power source. You can use it in applications where you need fine control at low speeds, like small robotic projects. When using, avoid stalling the motor as this can cause damage to the gearbox. As for maintenance, keep it clean and check the carbon brushes regularly. If you notice that the motor's performance is dropping, it might be time to replace the carbon brushes. Also, store it in a dry place when not in use to prevent any rust or damage to the metal parts.
