Pogo Pins Needle Head (10 pack) [P75-B1]

Pogo pins are small spring-loaded contacts that are incredibly useful. They're great for creating jigs or making momentary yet electrically reliable contacts. We often use them in large numbers for programming and testing jigs. They're also handy when you need to JTAG program a board where soldering headers isn't an option. Just insert these thin contacts into a 0.1' pitch IDC programming cable and press it onto the contacts. These pins are ideal as they're skinny enough to fit most proto or perf boards. They have a 1.0mm/0.04' diameter gold body and a 0.7mm (0.03') wide precise spring contact head. The uncompressed length is 16mm/0.63', and when compressed, it's 13mm/0.51'. Using these pogo pins is easy. First, if you're making a programming or testing jig, simply place the pins where you need them on the board. For JTAG programming on a board where you can't solder headers, insert the thin contacts into a 0.1' pitch IDC programming cable and press it onto the contacts. When handling the pins, be gentle as the spring mechanism is delicate. To keep them in good condition, store them in a dry place away from dust. If they get dirty, you can use a soft brush to clean them. Don't expose them to extreme temperatures as it might affect the spring's performance.
