Designed by Mike Doell, this enclosure is made of ultra - durable, super - glossy polycarbonate. It looks great and is tough enough to be tossed into your bookbag or toolbox. It has slim openings for all your cables, an easy - to - remove beveled slot for your Micro SD card, slots for your Pi Camera and upcoming Display, and a space for your GPIO cable to extend from the Pi. The Pi snaps into the base, and the lid fits snugly on top. If you want, you can use the case without the lid and easily add hats to your B+. This case only works for the Raspberry Pi Model B+ / Pi 2. It doesn't work for the Raspberry Pi Model A or B. It does work with the model A+ but there'll be some empty space, and you may need to snake your USB cable through the front holes, which might be difficult if the cable is bulky. Note that no Raspberry Pi is included, and this is just the base without a lid.

Using this Raspberry Pi case is easy. First, simply snap your Raspberry Pi into the base. If you have a lid, fit it snugly on top. You can mix and match different colored lids and bases to suit your style. When inserting your Micro SD card, use the easy - to - remove beveled slot. Make sure to route your cables through the slim openings provided. If you want to add a Pi Camera, Display, or GPIO cable, there are dedicated slots for them. When using the case with a Raspberry Pi Model A+, be aware that there will be some empty space, and you may need to carefully thread your USB cable through the front holes. This case is made of tough polycarbonate, but try not to subject it to extreme impacts. To clean it, use a soft, dry cloth. Remember, this case is just the base and does not come with a Raspberry Pi or a lid.
