Product Details

Do you wish to transform your Micro: bit into a musical instrument? Our piano module can turn that dream into reality! It comes with an interface for easy connection to your Micro: bit. Four RGB LEDs add a splash of color to your board, creating a vibrant display. The module features a capacitive touch chip that powers 13 touch keys, mimicking a real piano. You can play your favorite tunes effortlessly. With just one signal pin controlling the 4 RGB LEDs, it's highly efficient. It also extends the SPI and GPIO interfaces of the Micro: bit, making it super user - friendly. There's a buzzer on the board too. The touch chip is TTP229, and the RGB LEDs are WS2812B, offering 16777216 colors. It measures 85mm x 56mm and operates at a working voltage of 3.3v. The interfaces include VCC for power input (3.3v), GND, P0 for buzzer control, P1 for LED control, SCL for touch keys and I2C clock, and SDA for touch keys and I2C data. The package includes one Mini Piano Module with I2C Interface for Micro: bit. Check out the demo code, schematic, TTP229 info, touch IC details, and user manual for more.

Using this Mini Piano Module with your Micro: bit is a breeze. First, connect the module to your Micro: bit through the provided interface. Make sure to connect the VCC to a 3.3v power source and the GND properly. Once connected, you can start playing music by touching the 13 touch keys. The RGB LEDs will light up, adding a fun visual element. To control the buzzer, use the P0 pin on your Micro: bit, and for the LEDs, use the P1 pin. When using it, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Keep it away from static - prone areas as it may affect the touch chip. For maintenance, gently clean the module with a dry, soft cloth if it gets dirty. Don't use any harsh chemicals. If you run into any issues, refer to the user manual or the demo code provided. Have fun making music with your Micro: bit and this piano module!
