That's why we developed the Micro: IoT, an IoT expansion board based on the micro:bit. When used with the DFRobot Easy IoT platform, it significantly lowers the threshold of IoT usage.
This Micro: IoT board is super cute and dainty. It integrates Wi-Fi, an OLED screen, a 2-way motor drive, 6-way IO ports, 2-way IIC, 1-way serial port, 1-way buzzer, 3-way RGB LEDs, 2-way servo, a Li-ion battery holder, a charging circuit, and an emergency power interface. There are so many resources for you to code! Even without complex background knowledge, you can create your IoT applications in just a few steps.
Designed in a cloud shape, it perfectly fits the IoT theme. For power supply, we've chosen the CR123A 3.6V lithium rechargeable battery. It's small, high-capacity, and safe. Moreover, we've added short circuit and reverse connection protection to enhance the safety of using the Li-ion battery.

When it comes to power supply, use a CR123A 3.6V rechargeable Li - ion battery. Never use a 3V CR123A battery or a non - rechargeable one as recharging non - rechargeable batteries is very dangerous. The board has short - circuit and reverse - connection protection, but still handle the battery with care.
