Product Details

This is a high - performance Gear Motor with an encoder, model No. GB37Y3530 - 12V - 251R. It runs on 12V and features a 43.8:1 metal gearbox. The integrated quadrature encoder offers a resolution of 16 counts per revolution of the motor shaft, equivalent to 700 counts per revolution of the gearbox's output shaft. The 0.61' long, 6 mm(0.24') - diameter D - shaped output shaft is designed for smooth operation. This motor can start rotating at voltages as low as 1V, though it's meant to operate at 12V. The face plate has six M3 - threaded mounting holes evenly spaced in a regular hexagon, with 15.5 mm(0.61') between neighboring hole centers. It's a perfect choice for your mobile robot project. But be careful! Don't screw more than 3mm (1/8') into the mounting holes to avoid hitting the gears. Specifications include a gear ratio of 43.8:1, a no - load speed of 251 + 10% RPM, a no - load current of 350 mA, and more. Documents such as the Wiki, Dimensions, and Encoder instruction are available. The shipping list includes one GB37Y3530 - 12V - 251R Gear Motor with Encoder.

Using this motor is easy. First, connect it to a 12V power source. The motor can start moving with as little as 1V, but it works best at 12V. When mounting the motor, use M3 screws and make sure not to screw them more than 3mm (1/8') into the mounting holes on the face plate to avoid damaging the gears. For the encoder, it operates at 5V. If you're using it in a mobile robot project, this motor will give you accurate control thanks to its high - resolution encoder. To maintain it, keep it clean and free from dust. If you notice any strange noises or changes in performance, check the connections and the gearbox. And don't forget to refer to the included documents like the Wiki and Encoder instruction for more detailed information.
