Mates Programmer

The Mates Programmer is a user - friendly USB programmer designed for all Breadboard Mates products. It offers a straightforward five - way programming interface and lets you choose to program other devices like “barebones” Arduino (Atmel) processors. It provides an easy connection for MatesBUS compatible devices such as the TIMI - 96. You can connect it to one side (5 - pin) of the MatesBUS interface and program the device effortlessly with Mates Studio. It has a microUSB interface that allows you to connect the programmer to your PC using a standard microUSB cable. Then, it uses a standard 5 - pin interface to program 4D Labs processors in Breadboard Mates products like the TIMI - 96. The 5 - pin interface is part of the MatesBUS Interface, which consists of two rows of five pins with a 0.1″ (2.54mm) pitch and 0.3″ (7.62mm) spacing, perfect for direct plug - in to a breadboard, compatible adapter, or development board. Using the Mates Programmer is easy. First, connect the programmer to your PC via the microUSB interface with a standard microUSB cable (you'll need to get the cable separately as it's not included). Then, for Breadboard Mates products like the TIMI - 96, connect the programmer to one side of the MatesBUS interface using the 5 - pin connection. After that, you can use Mates Studio to program the device. When handling the programmer, be gentle with the pins to avoid bending or damaging them. Store it in a dry and clean place when not in use.
