Product Details

If you're working on a LoRa project and need maximum range, this super - durable outdoor antenna is a must - have. It offers a 5.8dBi gain, making it great for long - distance communication. With a length of 90cm (35.5 inches), it comes with hardware for easy pole mounting. Crafted from fiberglass and aluminum, it's perfect for heavy - duty and high - power LoRa base stations, but can also be used with LoRa nodes. The antenna has a type N male termination. When mounted vertically, the shrouded connector protects against water and weather damage on the threads. Note that this antenna doesn't come with a cable. We suggest using an N to RP - SMA interface cable to connect it to an RP - SMA connector. If you need to connect to a U.FL port, check out our RP - SMA to U.FL cable. What's included? 1 LoRa Fiberglass Antenna - Type N and 1 Mounting Hardware Pack. Features include a frequency range of 863 - 870 MHz, a max gain of 5.8 dBi, a VSWR of ≤ 2.0, high efficiency, a fiberglass radome body, vertical polarization, omnidirectional coverage, easy installation with the provided kit, and suitability for outdoor use. You can also find its datasheet for more details.

Using this LoRa antenna is quite straightforward. First, use the included mounting hardware to install the antenna on a pole. Make sure it's mounted vertically so the shrouded connector can protect against water and weather. Since the antenna doesn't come with a cable, you'll need to connect it to your device. We recommend using an N to RP - SMA interface cable for an RP - SMA connector. If your device has a U.FL port, get our RP - SMA to U.FL cable. When using the antenna outdoors, be aware that it's built to withstand various weather conditions, but try to avoid extremely harsh environments if possible. For maintenance, just give it a quick wipe every few months to keep it clean. Check the mounting hardware regularly to ensure it's still secure. If you want more detailed technical information, refer to the datasheet.
