It can scan a 120 - degree area with a detection range of 10 - 80 cm and a planar resolution of about 30 degrees. Specifications: Operating voltage is 5V for IR and 4.8 - 6V for the servo. The IR range is 10 - 80 cm (3.94' - 31.50'). Scan degree is 120 degrees, and scan speed is 0.17 seconds per 60 degrees at 4.8V and 0.4 seconds per 60 degrees at 6.0V. Included documents are Arduino sample scanner code. Shipping list: Sharp GP2Y0A21 Distance Sensor (10 - 80cm/3.94' - 31.50'), Sharp IR Sensor Mounting Bracket - GP2Y0A21/GP2Y0A02YK, and DF05BB Standard Servo (5kg).

Using this IR scanner kit is easy. First, connect the power supply according to the specified voltage: 5V for the IR part and 4.8 - 6V for the servo. Then, mount the Sharp GP2Y0A21 Distance Sensor on the Sharp IR Sensor Mounting Bracket and attach the bracket to your robot. After that, install the DF05BB Standard Servo. You can use the provided Arduino sample scanner code to start the scanning function. When using, make sure the voltage is within the specified range to ensure proper operation.
