This hub spacer is a great addition to your Actobotics system. It lets you space out your sprocket, gear, wheel, or other attachments from the mating hub. Unlike some other spacers, it doesn't have a ½' bore. The center hole is made for 6 - 32' screws and it uses the 0.77' hole pattern common in Actobotics. It's 1/8' thick. Actobotics is a robotics building system with extruded aluminum channels, gears, precision shafts, and ball bearings. With two standardized hole patterns, most Actobotics components can be easily connected. You can build complex electromechanical prototypes or finished projects. Documents include SketchUp Part and Product Page (545492).

Using this hub spacer is easy. First, decide where you want to space out your sprocket, gear, wheel, or other attachment from the mating hub. Then, place the spacer in the right position. Make sure to use 6 - 32' screws in the center hole. When handling the spacer, be careful not to damage it. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. If it gets dirty, you can use a soft cloth to wipe it. Store it in a cool and dry place when not in use. Also, make sure to connect it properly with other Actobotics components using the common 0.77' hole pattern.
