HIH-4030 Humidity Sensor Carrier

Sparkfun's carrier board for the Honeywell HIH - 4030 relative humidity sensor is a great choice. It outputs an analog voltage that changes almost linearly with humidity. Operating at 5V, it only consumes 200μA. With a 0.1' pin spacing, it fits standard breadboards and perfboards perfectly.

Using this HIH - 4030 humidity sensor carrier is easy. First, connect it to a 5V power source. You can then connect it to a standard breadboard or perfboard because of its 0.1' pin spacing. To measure humidity, just let it work and read the analog voltage output. When using, make sure the power supply is stable. Don't expose it to extreme humidity or temperature conditions. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. If there is dust, you can gently blow it off. This will help it work well for a long time.
