Product Details

These beads look like sushi rice, but don't eat them! They're Low Temperature Thermoplastic Beads, also called 'Friendly Plastic', 'Instamorph', 'Polymorph' and more. The 100g bags are filled with ivory - colored polymorph plastic beads that melt at around 60°C (140°F). Just heat water with a kettle or in the microwave, then add the beads. They'll turn clear and clump into a wax - like blob. You can easily knead, mold and shape it by hand. Once it hardens, it feels and lasts like polyethylene with a translucent white color. Don't like the shape? No problem! Put it back in hot water, and you can reshape it as often as you want. This super - versatile plastic is like a mix of 3D Filament and Sugru. Use it to make custom repair parts, tools, handles, prototypes, props or crafts. It's non - toxic, lead - free, biodegradable, and reusable just by reheating. Our 100 - gram bags are perfect for most robotics, electronics or craft projects.

Using these low - temperature thermoplastic beads is a breeze. First, heat some water with a kettle or in the microwave. Once the water is hot, dump the beads from the 100g bag into it. They'll quickly turn clear and stick together. Then, take the blob out and start kneading, molding and shaping it by hand. Leave it to harden. If you're not happy with the shape, simply put it back in hot water and start over. Remember, don't eat the beads as they're not for consumption. Also, when heating the water, be careful not to burn yourself. To maintain this plastic, just keep it in a cool, dry place. It's reusable, so when you're done with one project, you can heat it up again for a new one.
