Are you a maker facing a STEMMA challenge? This 100mm long cable is an amazing hybrid cable. One end has STEMMA QT / SparkFun Qwiic JST SH connectors, and the other end features a Grove connector. It's a great tool for connecting sensors and drivers between STEMMA or STEMMA QT / Qwiic boards. You can use it to link any Grove I2C sensor (3 - 5V) to an I2C host with Stemma QT or Qwiic connectors (3V). Also, it allows you to connect any STEMMA QT (3 - 5V) sensor to a Grove or STEMMA host (5V) board, and vice versa. However, be careful when using 3V - only Qwiic sensors with this cable, and always check the voltages on the power/signal pin. If you're connecting a Qwiic board (3V power only) to a Grove or STEMMA host, make sure the power switch is set to 3V. The cable colors are: black for GND, red for V+ (3.3V for Qwiic boards, 3 to 5V for STEMMA QT), blue for SDA, and yellow for SCL. For more on JST, visit their website. Using this cable is easy. First, identify the sensors and boards you want to connect. If you're connecting a Grove I2C sensor to an I2C host with Stemma QT or Qwiic connectors, plug the Grove end of the cable into the sensor and the other end into the host. If you're connecting a STEMMA QT sensor to a Grove or STEMMA host, do the opposite. When using 3V - only Qwiic sensors, always double - check the voltage on the power/signal pin. If you're connecting a Qwiic board to a Grove or STEMMA host, make sure to set the power switch to 3V. To maintain this cable, keep it away from sharp objects to avoid cuts. Store it in a dry place when not in use. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a dry cloth.
