Using the Gravity Digital I2C Signal Isolator is a breeze. First, check the operating current of your sensor or module. The maximum output current from the module side is 150mA, so make sure your sensor or module's current doesn't exceed this limit. Then, connect the isolator to your circuit. It's designed for DFRobot I2C connector sensors or modules, so just plug it in - no welding needed. And you don't have to change the code of the sensor module on the control board. When using, remember that all pins on the module side (isolation side) are isolated from those on the controller side (non - isolation side). Don't short - circuit them, or it might damage the isolator. Also, it's normal for the isolator to generate some heat while working. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean environment.
