GPS/GNSS Magnetic Mount Antenna SMA - 3m

Most regular GPS antennas are tailored for US-based GPS signals, but as more modules can track additional satellite constellations (GNSS receivers), you need the right antenna. This outstanding GPS/GNSS antenna is built for both GPS and GLONASS reception. When paired with the SparkFun GPS ground plate, it shows excellent Time To First Fix (TTFF) and Satellites In View (SIV) stats for both GPS and GLONASS. The magnetic base lets you easily attach it to a metal surface like a ground plate or car roof. It comes with a 3m cable and a standard SMA connector. Using this antenna is a breeze. First, find a metal surface like a ground plate or the roof of your car. The magnetic mount will stick it in place securely. Connect the 3m cable with the standard SMA connector to your device. For the best results, use it with the SparkFun GPS ground plate, especially for RTK applications. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or harsh weather for long periods.
