The Cherokey 4WD Basic Arduino Robot Kit is an ideal wheeled robot platform for building your own Arduino - based robot. It has an embedded L298P motor driver chip that can drive two 6 - 12V DC motors with up to 2A current. The integrated 2 - way DC motor driver and Xbee & APC220 socket let you start your project right away without extra motor drivers or wireless shields. The expansion plate increases the surface area, allowing easy connection of a 9g micro servo or a standard - sized servo in two locations for robotic arm or sensor installation. The prototyping area simplifies sensor installation, and the double - side leaf pads solder prototyping areas in the middle can be used to add DIP or SMD components for extra functions.
