This is a pre-terminated jumper adapter cable. One end has a female Qwiic JST connector, and the other end has female connectors. The silicon insulation makes it more flexible than our original Qwiic cable, especially in tight spaces. It allows you to easily connect Qwiic - enabled components to male pins on different development platforms. It's also ideal for attaching a logic analyzer to your I2C system. The 28AWG wire is 150mm (about 5.9 inches) long. The wires are color - coded red, black, blue, and yellow. The female Qwiic connector has a 1mm pitch, and the female hookup pins can connect to a standard 0.1' male connector. All Qwiic cables follow this color scheme: Black = GND, Red = 3.3V, Blue = SDA, Yellow = SCL.

Using this cable is a breeze. First, identify the Qwiic - enabled component you want to connect. Plug the female Qwiic JST connector on the cable into the Qwiic port of the component. Then, find the male pins on your development platform and connect the female connectors on the other end of the cable to them. When attaching a logic analyzer to your I2C system, just connect the cable as described. Remember to check the color - coding of the wires to ensure correct connections. For maintenance, keep the cable away from sharp objects to avoid damaging the insulation. If the cable gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a dry cloth. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use to prolong its lifespan.
