Product Details

This Flame Detection Sensor Module is designed for use with Arduino. It's highly sensitive to flame wavelengths in the infrared range from 760 nm to 1100 nm, and has a 60 - degree detection angle. It offers two output modes. The AO provides an analog output, delivering a real - time voltage signal based on thermal resistance. The DO outputs high and low signals when the temperature hits a certain threshold, which you can adjust via a potentiometer. It operates on a DC voltage ranging from 3V to 5.5V.

Using this flame sensor module is easy. First, connect it to your Arduino board following the wiring instructions. You can then start detecting flames. For the AO output, you'll get a continuous voltage signal that shows the intensity of the heat. For the DO output, you can set the threshold using the potentiometer to decide when the sensor should trigger a high or low signal. When using, make sure the voltage supply is within the 3V - 5.5V DC range to avoid damaging the module. Keep it away from strong magnetic fields as they may interfere with the sensor's performance. To maintain it, clean the sensor surface gently with a soft, dry cloth if it gets dirty. Regularly check the connections to ensure they are secure.
