Product Details

Easily create your own custom DE-15 cable or interface with this amazing DE-15 Socket to Terminal Block Breakout. It features a sturdy PCB with a DE-15 socket and two rows of terminal blocks. You can use either stranded or solid core wire to quickly assemble your wiring jigs. Ideal for non - standard wiring setups or interfacing with VGA - equipped devices. Although technically 'DB - 15' is an incorrect name for DE - 15 connectors, most people know them by this term. Each package comes with a fully assembled breakout and a clip - on housing.

Using this DE-15 Socket to Terminal Block Breakout is a breeze. First, gather your stranded or solid core wire. Connect the wire to the terminal blocks on the breakout board according to your wiring needs. If you're making a custom DE-15 cable, connect the other end of the wire to the appropriate parts of the cable. For interfacing with a device having a VGA interface, just connect the breakout to the device. When handling, be gentle to avoid damaging the PCB or the connectors. Store it in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Clean it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth to keep it in good condition. And remember, even though many call it DB-15, it's actually a DE-15 connector.
