DC Toy / Hobby Motor - 130 Size

These are standard '130 size' DC hobby motors. They have a wider operating range (4.5 - 9VDC) compared to most toy motors (usually 1.5 - 4.5V). This wide range makes them ideal for use with an Adafruit Motor Shield or an Arduino, as 5V or 9V is more readily available than a high - current 3V setting. Using these motors is easy. First, make sure your power source is within the 4.5 - 9VDC range. If you're using an Adafruit Motor Shield or an Arduino, connect the motor following the standard wiring guidelines. Since the wires are breadboard - friendly, prototyping is a breeze.
