The FT232H chip on it is a single-channel USB to serial/parallel ports with various configurations. It handles the entire USB protocol on the chip, so there's no need for USB-specific firmware programming. With this chip, you can enjoy both USB 2.0 Hi-Speed and Full-Speed. It serves as an external memory and a converter for Arduino, offering high speed and multiple functions. Features include converting USB to various fast serial interfaces, simplifying CPU interface design with its CPU-style FIFO interface mode, adjustable receive buffer timeout, and compatibility with both Hi-speed and full-speed. Specifications: Hi-speed to UART/FIFO IC is 480Mb/s, full speed is 12Mbits/Second, UART transfer data rate is 12Mbaud, USB to asynchronous 245 FIFO mode transfer data rate is 8 Mbyte/Sec, and USB to synchronous 245 parallel FIFO mode transfer rate is 40 Mbytes/Sec.
