This is a super - cool battery holder. Unlike the common ones for AAA batteries, it's specially made to clip and hold camcorder batteries. It fits the popular SONY NP - Fxx series and compatible batteries with cylindrical LiIon cells and a 7.4v nominal output. By simply clipping in a battery, you can plug this holder into any device with a 2.1mm DC jack that needs around 7VDC. It's perfect for robots, Arduino projects, and making gadgets portable. The package includes only the plastic holder and cable assembly, no battery. We tested it with an NP - F750 compatible battery and it worked great. It should also work with F960, F770, F750, F550, and other similar snap - in batteries. You can easily snap the batteries in and out and use the battery's charger to recharge. It has four 4mm diameter mounting holes for easy installation in your project. There's a pre - attached 215mm long right - angle barrel plug and it comes with four mounting screws. Remember, the battery is not included.
