You'll be captivated by the amazing patterns of this Adafruit 15x7 CharliePlex LED Matrix Display FeatherWing. This 15x7 LED display pairs with any Feather board to create a beautiful, bright grid of 105 charlieplexed LEDs. It has a built - in charlieplex driver running over I2C. We offer these FeatherWings in five vivid colors, and this one is the Cool White matrix. The I2C LED driver chip can PWM each individual LED in the 15x7 grid, giving you great lighting effects without complex pin management. Just tell the chip which LED to light and at what brightness, and it does the rest. Each LED has 8 - bit (256 level) dimming. The IS31FL3731 chip runs on 3.3V power and has enough RAM for 8 display frames, allowing you to set up animations easily. Since it uses I2C, it only takes up SDA/SCL pins and can share them with other I2C devices. Our graphics library makes it simple to draw shapes, text, and bitmaps for stunning LED displays. Using this Adafruit 15x7 CharliePlex LED Matrix Display FeatherWing is easy. First, pair it with your Feather board. Then, use our graphics library to draw shapes, text, or bitmaps on the display. To control the LEDs, just tell the I2C LED driver chip which LED you want to light and at what brightness. When setting up animations, you can take advantage of the 8 frames of display memory. Remember, this chip runs on 3.3V power, so make sure your power source is compatible. Avoid exposing the display to extreme temperatures or moisture. For maintenance, keep it clean and free from dust.
