Product Details

Light up the night with this amazing night vision camera module for Raspberry Pi! It comes with infra - red LEDs, enabling the camera to see clearly in the dark without emitting visible light. You can choose between a standard 70° or a wide - angle 160° lens. This camera has a 5MP sensor, the same as our other Pi Zero camera modules. It features a full - sized cable connector and two camera cables, allowing easy attachment to either a Raspberry Pi Zero W or a full - sized Raspberry Pi 3 B+. There's also a convenient lens cap to protect the lens when not in use. Note that the powerful infra - red LEDs generate around 1W of heat during use. If you're using the module in an enclosure, make sure there's enough ventilation to keep the LEDs and your Raspberry Pi cool. Features include 5MP sensor with 2592x1944 pixels, 1080p video at 30 FPS (or 60 FPS at 720p, 90 FPS at 480p), f2.4 lens with 1.85mm focal length, 15cm Pi Zero camera cable, 15cm standard camera cable, lens cap, dimensions of 72.60 x 24mm (including cable connector), variable focus, and a datasheet.

Using this Raspberry Pi night vision camera module is easy. First, choose the lens that suits your needs - either the standard 70° or the wide - angle 160°. Then, use one of the two provided cables to connect the camera to your Raspberry Pi, whether it's a Pi Zero W or a full - sized Pi 3 B+. When it gets dark, the infra - red LEDs will let the camera see without visible light. But here's something important to note: the infra - red LEDs get hot (about 1W of heat) when they're working. So, if you put the camera in an enclosure, make sure there are holes or fans to let the hot air out and keep everything cool. To maintain the camera, use the lens cap when you're not using it. This will protect the lens from dust and scratches. And that's it - enjoy your night - time viewing with this great camera module!
