Product Details

This is a pack of 10 MyoWare® 2.0 Reference Cables. These cables extend the reference pin of the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor. Simply insert the pin into its housing and place a biomedical sensor pad into the electrode snap. Then, attach the cable's snap pin to a different part of the body, like the bony part of the elbow or a non - adjacent muscle near the targeted muscle that the sensor's built - in reference pin can't reach. Note that the reference electrode socket stays active even with the cable inserted. You can disable it by cutting the jumper trace on the sensor's top side and re - enable it by soldering the jumper pads. This 10 - pack doesn't include the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor, Power Shield, and EMG pads, which need to be bought separately. The MyoWare® 2.0 ecosystem has shields that easily connect with the MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor, a low - cost, Arduino - compatible EMG sensor. The connector system lets you snap shields together and connect to a microcontroller's analog input to measure muscle electrical activity without soldering. This product is a collaboration with Brian Kaminski from Advancer Technologies, and a part of each sale supports product development. It includes 10 MyoWare 2.0 Reference Cables, and comes with documents like the Hookup Guide, Quickstart Guide, Advanced Guide, and the MyoWare 2.0 Ecosystem Page.

Using the MyoWare 2.0 Reference Cable is easy. First, insert the pin into its housing. Then, put a biomedical sensor pad into the electrode snap. Next, find a suitable spot on your body, such as the bony part of the elbow or a non - adjacent muscle near the targeted one, and stick the snap pin there. Remember, the reference electrode socket remains active when the cable is inserted. If you want to disable it, cut the jumper trace on the top side of the sensor. To re - enable it, just solder the jumper pads. This pack doesn't come with the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor, Power Shield, or EMG pads, so you'll need to buy them separately. Keep the cables clean and dry. Avoid bending or pulling them too hard to prevent damage. If you have any problems, refer to the Hookup Guide, Quickstart Guide, or Advanced Guide provided.
