This motor mount is a great addition to your Actobotics collection. It connects to other Actobotics products via a swivel mount, making it a breeze to attach your motor to gears or pulleys. The set screw on the swivel mount (sold separately) lets you precisely position the motor and lock it in place. You can even rotate the motor inside the mount by simply loosening the set screw. This adjustability makes the mount incredibly versatile. It's designed to work with motors having a 22mm body diameter. Actobotics is a robotics building system centered around extruded aluminum channels, gears, precision shafts, and ball bearings. With two standardized hole patterns, almost all Actobotics components can be easily connected. The wide variety of components enables you to build complex electromechanical prototypes or finished projects. Note: You need to purchase a swivel mount to use the motor mount clamp. Using this motor mount is easy. First, make sure you've bought the separate swivel mount. Then, connect the motor mount to other Actobotics products through the swivel mount. Attach your 22mm motor to gears or pulleys. To position the motor accurately, use the set - screw on the swivel mount. If you need to change the motor's angle, just loosen the set - screw, rotate the motor, and then tighten the screw again. Remember, the swivel mount is not included with the motor mount clamp, so you have to buy it separately. For maintenance, keep the mount clean and check the set - screw regularly to ensure it's tight. If there's any sign of wear, replace the parts as needed.
