Product Details
The Modular Raspberry Pi Case is user-customizable and adaptable for various needs. Its sleek look and flexibility make it ideal for many uses, like hobbyist projects, digital signage, industrial protection, family-friendly media centers, classroom education, and workshops. The basic case has 25.70mm internal headroom, allowing most Raspberry Pi breakout boards to fit without changes. To use larger breakout boards, place prototype PCBs inside, or stack multiple boards, you can use spacers. Each 10mm spacer increases the internal height, and you can stack them as needed (e.g., 2 spacers add 20mm). However, longer screws are required to secure the case. The 10mm stackable spacers have great features: they make your case compatible with 99% of breakout boards, let the case grow with your project, can be stacked to increase the internal height by 50mm or more, and are perfect for embedded applications and hobbyist projects. The screw size depends on the number of spacers. We offer screw options for up to 5 spacers, compatible with both No.4 (US) and M3 (UK/EU) types. You can also get screws up to 78mm from ModMyPi in packs of four. Download the feature list, specification, dimensions, and assembly sheet for more details.
Using your modular Raspberry Pi case with the 10mm spacers is easy. First, place the spacers between the case parts to increase the internal height as needed. You can stack them to add more space, but remember to use longer screws to secure the case properly. The screw length depends on the number of spacers you use - check the screw size guide in the product description. When choosing screws, you can use either No.4 (US) or M3 (UK/EU) types. If you need, you can buy screws up to 78mm from ModMyPi in packs of four. As for maintenance, keep the case and spacers clean by using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface. With these simple steps, your Raspberry Pi case and spacers will serve you well for a long time.
