Are you diving into the world of micro - controllers? Whether it's Arduino, Netduino, Propeller, PIC, ARM, or other platforms, you're on an amazing learning journey! Adafruit presents these awesome 'badges' as a cool way to recognize achievements in electronics, science, and engineering. We think learning useful skills should be rewarded, and these badges are a great way to show and share your progress. This 'I learned micro - controllers' badge is perfect for educators, classrooms, workshops, Maker Faires, TechShops, Hackerspaces, and Makerspaces worldwide. It's a great way to encourage beginners on their skill - building path! Made in the USA, this badge is a beauty. It's well - designed and built to last a lifetime. You can either iron it on or sew it on. Adafruit's embroidered badges are made in partnership with AMBRO Manufacturing in NJ, USA. AMBRO is a family - owned business since 1990, sharing Adafruit's love for open - source. They use non - toxic, soy - based, water - soluble, and eco - friendly printing supplies and threads when possible. With over 250 solar panels generating 50,000 Kilowatt hours per year, their equipment runs on solar power. Their environmentally - friendly manufacturing practices were even recognized by Impressions Magazine. We know you have many options, and we hope our open - source values and green initiatives make your choice easier and more enjoyable!

Using your micro - controllers skill badge is a breeze. If you choose to iron it on, first, place the badge on the desired spot of your clothing. Then, cover it with a thin cloth to protect the badge. Set your iron to a medium - high heat without steam and press firmly for about 10 - 15 seconds. Make sure to cover the whole area of the badge. If you prefer to sew it on, use a strong thread and a needle, and start stitching around the edges. When it comes to care, avoid washing the area with the badge too roughly. For regular cleaning, you can spot - clean gently with a mild detergent. Don't use bleach as it might damage the colors of the badge. Store it in a dry place when not in use to keep it in good condition for a long time.
