Micro Switch w/Lever - 2 Terminal

Micro - switches are super useful! They're commonly seen in arcade buttons and joysticks, and are a great addition to any mechatronics project or when you need a simple sensor. These switches have a 'tactile' clicky feel and are'momentary', closing when pressed and opening once released. They come in different types, mainly varying in contacts and actuator size. This particular microswitch has a flat metal lever actuator and two terminals. Normally open, they short together when actuated. We also offer types with bump actuators, roller levers, and long wires. It's a basic switch ideal for arcade games and mini robots. Using this micro switch is easy. Just connect the two terminals to your circuit. When you press the flat metal lever actuator, the switch will close the circuit and when you release it, it'll open. For arcade buttons or joysticks, simply mount it in the right place and attach the actuator to the moving part. For mini robots, you can use it as a basic sensor.
