This Magnetic Door Switch Set is a great addition to your home security system. It's a small yet effective reed switch assembly. When doors, drawers, or any other openings are opened, it immediately alerts you. One part of the set is placed on the window or door frame, and the other on the window or door itself. Once the two parts separate, the contact breaks and triggers an alarm. When the magnet pieces are within 20mm of each other, they complete the circuit with the internal reed switches. Using this Magnetic Door Switch Set is easy. First, decide where you want to install it, like on a door or window. Mount one part of the set on the frame and the other on the door or window itself using the included Phillips mounting screws. Make sure the two parts can come close to each other when the door or window is closed. When the door or window opens and the two parts separate, it will trigger an alarm. As for voltage and current, don't exceed the maximum ratings of 100V and 500mA. Keep the area around the switch clean. If there's dust or dirt on it, gently wipe it with a dry cloth.
