Meet the Saleae Logic 4, a super - powerful logic analyzer housed in a tiny anodized aluminum case. We're really into its simple, stylish design, lightweight software, and top - notch finish. Why go for 50+ connections when troubleshooting I²C? With USB connectivity, it effortlessly analyzes up to 4 digital waveforms (one input can handle both analog and digital) and timing info on I²C, SPI, serial, and digital IO lines. Ideal for reverse - engineering projects, it works with signals from 2.5V to 5V! All you need comes in a compact carrying case. The test leads can be detached from the Logic unit, making it easy to remove the valuable part from a board with many hooks. Dimensions are 42 x 42 x 10 mm (1.66' x 1.66' x.39'). It includes 1x Logic 4, 1x USB A to mini - B Cable, 1x Ultra - Flexible Test Lead Set, 8x Micro Hook Clips, and 1x Custom Carrying Case. Features include one multi - use input (analog/digital/both), three digital - only inputs, a max digital sample rate of 12 MS/s, a max analog sample rate of 6 MS/s, a fastest digital signal of 3 MHz, supported digital logic levels from 2.5V - 5.5V, an analog input voltage range of 0V - 5V, an analog bandwidth of 600 kHz, 8 - bit analog, compatibility with RS - 232, 422/3 directly, and USB 2.0. Also, it comes with a User’s Guide, Software Download, and Product Page.

Using the Saleae Logic 4 is a breeze. First, connect it to your device via the USB A to mini - B cable. The test leads can be attached to the board where you want to analyze the signals. Use the multi - use input for both analog and digital signals, and the other three for digital only. You can then use the software to view and analyze waveforms. When you're done with the board and have lots of hooks in place, simply disconnect the test leads from the Logic unit to safely remove the expensive part. As for maintenance, keep it in the custom carrying case when not in use to protect it from dust and damage. Make sure the operating environment has signals between 2.5V and 5.5V for digital and 0V - 5V for analog to ensure proper function.
