Joystiic v1.1 - Qwiic Joystick Breakout

This analog joystick has a wonderful feel that reminds you of the PlayStation 2 controller, which is why it's one of our top - selling items. We've taken it a step further and created a 'smart' version! This thumbstick reports its position via I2C and is compatible with the Qwiic system, allowing you to easily add it to your project without soldering. The I2C address of the Joystiic can be selected in software, so you can connect multiple joysticks to the same bus without any conflicts. Version 1.1 has a minor update, adding a power LED and fixing the wide IC footprint. Functionally, it's the same as the previous version. Remember, our SparkX products aren't regularly produced, so grab them while they're available! Note that SparkX products are experimental. Using this joystick is easy. First, since it's Qwiic - compatible, you can connect it to your project without any soldering. Just plug it into the Qwiic system. The joystick will automatically report its position over I2C. If you want to use multiple joysticks on the same bus, you can select different I2C addresses for each one in software to avoid collisions. As for maintenance, keep it away from dust and moisture. The power LED on version 1.1 will let you know if it's getting power. Remember, this is an experimental SparkX product. There are no guarantees, and you won't get live technical support.
