Product Details

The Gravity Analog Signal Isolator is a great solution for isolating analog signals and providing isolated power to sensors. It effectively prevents sensor signal interference, especially useful for multi - parameter water quality monitoring sensors. In water quality monitoring systems, sensors often interfere with each other. For example, a pH sensor can be affected by an electrical conductivity sensor. The common way to solve this is power isolation, and this isolator is designed exactly for this. It has an on - board 5V isolated power IC and is compatible with the Gravity - 3Pin interface, allowing for easy plug - and - play without soldering. The transform rate is 1:1, ensuring that analog values on both sides remain the same. It is compatible with almost all analog output sensors from DFRobot. Caution: 1. The MCU should supply 5.0±0.1V power, which determines the final output precision. 2. The module consumes a large current during operation, so an external power supply is recommended. 3. The MAX output current of the SEN terminal is 170mA. 4. The GNDs of SEN and MCU are isolated and should not be connected. 5. It gets a bit warm during operation. SPECIFICATION: Operating Voltage is 5.0V, Response Time is 4 seconds (Typ), Analog Error (both ends) is <± 20mV (Typ), Interface Type is PH2.0 - 3P, No load Current is 75mA, Dimension is 42 * 32mm / 1.65 * 1.26 inch. Non - isolated Terminal (Arduino Side) has a Supply Voltage of 5.0 ± 0.1V and an Analog Output of 0 ~ 5.0V. Isolated Terminal (Sensor Side) has an Output Voltage of 5.0 ± 0.2V and an Analog Input of 0 ~ 5.0V. DOCUMENTS include Schematic, Layout, and Datasheet.

Using the Gravity Analog Signal Isolator is easy. First, make sure your MCU can provide 5.0±0.1V power as this will affect the output precision. Connect the isolator to your sensors using the Gravity - 3Pin interface, no soldering required. It's compatible with most DFRobot analog output sensors. During operation, the module consumes a large amount of current, so it's a good idea to use an external power supply. The MAX output current of the SEN terminal is 170mA, so don't exceed this limit. Also, remember that the GNDs of SEN and MCU are isolated and should not be connected. The isolator may get a bit warm when it's working, which is normal. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean environment. If there are any issues, refer to the provided schematic, layout, and datasheet.
