GPIO Stacking Header for Pi A+/B+/Pi 2/Pi 3 [Extra-long 2x20 Pins]

Connect your custom PCB to a Raspberry Pi B+ and stack it on top using this normal-height female header with extra long pins. The female header is about 8.5mm tall, perfect for small HATs that don't need to clear the USB/Ethernet jacks. These pins are 10mm long, much longer than our regular version which has 3mm pins. With 10mm pins, you can stack another HAT on top of your existing one! As of June 15, 2018, we've updated the product to have thicker square 0.6mm pins. They're a bit harder to insert/remove, but they'll keep a better mechanical and electrical connection. Each order comes with one header. This product is also compatible with Raspberry Pi Model A+, Raspberry Pi 2, and Raspberry Pi 3!

Using this GPIO Stacking Header is easy. First, connect your own PCB to the Raspberry Pi B+ with this header. You can stack it right on top. Since the female header is about 8.5mm tall, it works great for small HATs that don't need to go over the USB or Ethernet ports. The 10mm long pins let you stack another HAT on top if you want. Just note that after June 15, 2018, the pins are thicker and square 0.6mm. They might take a bit more effort to put in or take out, but they'll give you a better connection. You'll get one header per order. And remember, it also works with Raspberry Pi Model A+, Raspberry Pi 2, and Raspberry Pi 3. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean and dry. If you need to remove it, do it gently to avoid bending the pins.
