Product Details
The FS-600 is a compact and efficient nuclear radiation detector. It's designed to monitor X-rays, beta rays, and gamma rays. The energy compensation Geiger counter tube in this instrument ensures accurate measurement and a wide detection range. Powered by a 32-bit microprocessor and paired with a 64*128 dot LCD screen, it's user-friendly and highly resistant to interference. It features an audible alarm with adjustable thresholds. When the set threshold is reached, it alerts staff to prioritize safety. Key functions include detecting multiple types of nuclear radiation, real-time dose rate measurement, and recording cumulative dose. It also has adjustable alarm thresholds, dual alarm functions for dose rate and value, and a locking prompt when the radiation dose rate exceeds 10mSv/h. Other features are built-in memory, battery monitoring, real-time dose rate curve display, and more. It can be powered via an external Type-C interface. The detector is made of ABS material, black in color. It can detect beta, gamma, and X-rays, with a sensor type of tube. Its energy range is 50kev - 1.5mev with less than 30% error, and relative inherent error is less than 10%. Sensitivity is 80cpm/μSV/Co - 60, and the maximum dose equivalent rate is μsv 99.99/h. It offers different sound sources and an adjustable alarm threshold of 0.5. It can be used at room temperature from -25 to +45℃ and relative humidity less than 95%. The product dimensions are 116 x 60 x 25 mm, weighing 145 g / 5.1 oz, with a package size of 160 x 60 x 25 mm and packing weight of 160g. The package includes 1*FS - 600, 1 * User Manual, and 1*USB cable.
Using the FS-600 is straightforward. First, power it on, either by using the built-in battery or an external Type-C power source. The 64*128 dot LCD screen will show all the important information. You can adjust the alarm thresholds according to your needs. To do this, use the controls on the device to set the dose rate alarm threshold and dose alarm threshold. When the detector is working, it will start monitoring the radiation in real-time. You'll hear a particle sound, which you can turn on or off if you prefer. If the radiation level reaches the set alarm threshold, the device will sound an alarm to let you know. When it comes to maintenance, keep the device in a dry place at a temperature between -25 and +45℃. Check the battery regularly, and the device will remind you when the battery is low. If you need to store the device for a long time, make sure to fully charge the battery first. Also, don't expose the device to extreme humidity, as the relative humidity should be less than 95%. And always refer to the user manual for detailed information and troubleshooting.
